I'm still remembering the photo of your blue adirondack (sp?) chair on your rolling green lawn. Now THAT'S beautiful! Now my memory's failing me....are there one or two chairs?
Funny thing about that chair Jillie!!! When my husband took it out of the box and assembled it, the matching ottoman, and side table, the wood was all pieces of junk - all patched and pieced together - not made well at all. The paint starting chipping off as soon as he set it out by the pond. A few weeks ago, I tripped in that area and braced myself on the ottoman so as not to fall into the pond - well it collapsed beneath me, and I grabbed onto the chair and prayed that it would not fall apart as well!
I was in the store where I had bought it 2 years ago recently, speaking with a manager about something else, when I mentioned how awful that set was put together. He told me to bring it back! I was shocked!!! I questioned him, and he said "I'd rather keep you as a good customer, than lose you over a chair"! WOW!!! So I brought it back and got my money back - even without the ottoman which my husband had thrown into the trash! I still had the receipt thank goodness, because when they put it into the computer, it came up as $3.99 when I had paid $50!!!
So, now I have my money back, but no pretty blue chair! I've asked my husband to make one - he built an adirondack bench 2 summers ago, so this should be pretty easy. Now I have to wait for him to find the time and desire!
I still like love your color combination - always have from the first picture I saw of it - it's so cheerful!

Thanks, Lynne!

Gosh, Lynne, I'm glad you weren't hurt. We ladies past the age of 30ish have to be careful with those falls.
That store manager has Good Business Practices down! ....and it was jst plain nice. Wow. Rare, nowadays.
Sorry about it, though. I loved that photo.
